I write to express my great thanks for the wonderful job you made of the sale of the contents of our house, Glencruitten, by Oban, Argyll, on 6th September, 2003, and for the courteous and highly efficient way you and your co-workers collected, stored and then sold the multifarious objects and at wonderful prices!
To see all those vans and people actually in Oban by early morning and to hear that everything had been offloaded and stored securely inside your warehouse that same night, was proof indeed of the conscientious way in which you operate. The fact that you kindly included items belonging also to other members of our family and which were in the house was a great help also to them.
We could not be more pleased and feel fully and profitably vindicated when thinking of those friends and acquaintances who told us that we should sell such "important" and valuable objects through larger, international auction houses. Your commission system alone has saved us a very substantial sum and the prices at which you were able to sell far outstripped our expectations and, I am sure, could not have been bettered in any other saleroom.
